　　报告人简介：
　　
　　Jorge A. Piedrahita, 博士，美国北卡州立大学动物医学院教授，国际胚胎移植学会会员。主要从事干细胞、克隆与转基因研究。

　　曾受邀到中国、英国、西班牙、巴西、加拿大、阿根廷、荷兰、秘鲁、爱尔兰、日本、泰国、韩国和美国等10余个国家的大学和科研院所做关于干细胞、克隆与转基因研究方面的学术报告100余次。曾担任“ International Embryo Transfer Society Annual Meeting”和“Stem cells in livestock. Society for the study of reproduction”等国际会议主席。曾接受CNN等6家电视台和BBC等6个广播电台专访报道，另被The Sunday Times等7家报纸进行专栏报道。

　　获得各种学术奖15项。获批发明专利12 项。参编学术专著20余部，是10余个期刊的特约撰稿人。以西班牙语发表文章2篇。先后在《Science 》、《Nature Genetics》、《Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 》、《Transgenic Research 》、《Cloning and Stem Cells》、《 Cellular Reprogramming 》、《 Biology of Reproduction 》、《Animal Genetics》、《 Genesis 》、《 Nucleic Acid Res.》、《Mol. Reprod. Develop. 》、《Theriogenology 》等30余种期刊发表论文60余篇。担任《Cloning and Stem Cells》、《Journal of Biomedicine and Biotechnology》、《Reproduction in Domestic Animals》、《Animal Biotechnology》、《Pig Cloning》、《Annual Reviews in Molecular Farming》等期刊编辑。担任《Nature Biotechnology》、《Mammalian Genome》、《Fertility and Sterility》、《Tissue Engineering》、《Animal Genetics》、《Nucleic Acid Research》、《Journal of Animal Sciences》、《Theriogenology》、《Genome Biology》等10余个期刊的审稿人。
