On January 16th, the Long Quan Middle School welcome a special team of 6 people. They are the NWAFU publicity volunteers from our college, and the alumni of that middle school as well. Their visit aims at expanding the influence of NWAFU in Sichuan Province. As soon as their arrival, they meet the teachers in charge of reception and co-worked out a schedule for the publicity.

During the evening classes, the team first handed out the brochure, booklet and postcard with NWAFU information or pictures on. The audience were soon attracted and waited eagerly for the presentation. Zhou Jinyi introduced the history, faculty, research achievement, enrollment, campus life, and student associations. Next, Sun Tiantian made supplementary report on the NWAFU’s strengths in teaching, learning resources and academic atmosphere as a university of “985 project”, “211 project” and the “dual-first-class” university. At the Q& A session, the middle school students inquired about the enrollment policy, discipline and majors, infrastructure, entertainment and other related topics. The publicity team’s patience and informative answers greatly moved the audience. The monitor said, “ I would like to extend our sincere thanks for the team’s presentation and patience, we are looking forward to the university life.”

To pay visit to the Alma Mater is to show their love. This practice also familiarizes the NWAFU to a larger number of students. The pursuit for dream never cease as the spirit of NWAFU will go on forever. “Sincerity, Simplicity, Bravery and Perseverance” will be carried forward from generation to generation.
