On January 3rd, CIE held an exchange report on outstanding exchange students at the Chinese University of Hongkong in the Xiushan Activity Center on north campus. Secretary of NWAFU Youth League Committee Cao Junhui, Deputy Director of Student Affairs Division Xu Sanyou, Mz. Li Jiao from International Exchange Office, and CIE Associate Dean Wang Xiaoping attended the report.
As an exchange student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2015, Ms. Zhang Yiying, shared with fellow CIEers her four-month study and life experience at CUHK. "The teachers pay great attention to cultivating students' innovative research thinking and thorough understanding of the curriculum. The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a college with good living facilities and provides many exchange activities for students." Meanwhile, Cheung Yi-ying also expressed her personal views on Hong Kong, " This is a place where modernity and tradition are combined, and a place where prosperity and poverty coexist". As long as the report ends, the audience pitched in Q&A session, inquiring about the curriculum training programs and the college management. Tian Weiye, a Y2016 student who participated in the report, said: "This report benefits me greatly. It does not only show me the current differences, but also gives me a deeper understanding of the city of Hong Kong. And I hope I would have the opportunity to explore the wider world. "
This report provides a broader platform for CIE students and broadens their horizons. CIE has also been actively exploring the mode of top-notch innovative talents training for sustainable development of CIE students.
