To improves students’ innovative and practical abilities and promote their friendship, CIE held the Kite Festival on March 25th as a respond to the call of Outdoors Program. 

Sweeping advertising and full-prepared organization soon attracted many a student. At 2:00 pm on that day, the participants started their kite-making following the instructions of Zhao Yuting and Xu Ruisheng, which unveiled the wonderful event. Some painted their favorite cartoon images while some chose to make the kite a paysage. As soon as they finished the first session, the students came to playground and flies their kites up to sky, running and laughing. 

Y2016 student He Zongxing shared his happiness, saying that “ I love this kind of activity. My fellows and I greatly enjoy the painting and flying kites. The festival to us is more than pastime but a impressive lesson. It encourages us to come to real life from internet and dorms, and to enjoy the beauty of life.” 

This festival successfully enriches the students college life and promote their friendship. In addition, it inspires the students in innovation and practice. When they are enjoy the happiness in outdoors activities, they have their team spirit enhanced, too.
