To help the CIE students performed better in CET 4 and CET 6, series of English-learning-targeted activities have been held recently. Students enjoyed greatly the opportunity of improving their foreign language proficiency.

Model tests

Through series of model test CET 4& 6 sponsored by CEI college, the students gained the access to the familiarity with test procedures. Flinging into the context of mock test, the students could better adjust themselves psychologically in the real ones. As long as the scores published , CIE would invite experienced teachers to give lectures accordingly.

Informative tutorials

To eliminate the students’ confusion in learning English, CIE invite the experienced English teachers of CIE appointed-teaching-program to college seminars periodically. Students benefited much from this practice, as they were given constructive suggestions in English learning.

Experience-sharing Meeting

The senior students who performed prominently in CET 4&6 were also invited to share their experience in learning skills and preparing for test.

English Contest

To retain the students enthusiasm, CIE held the first Zhuoyue Cup English Contest, in which twelve groups took the ticket for the final.

Good habit of learning and the scientific learning skills never should give their ways in English learning. Therefore, to keep the students’ passion in study and improve their abilities have always been prioritized in CIE cultivation program. The passing rate of CET 4& 6 of CIE students have ranked the top since year 2008.
