On the evening of 25th Sep, freshmen debate was held by our college as the captain of our college debate team served as the host.

Two topics were covered in the debate in which the atmosphere was kept lively, since the the students from four teams were all with strong ability of thinking and expressing. It was so fabulous that all the audience was shocked and excited.

As it was the first time for the freshmen, the lack of experience and rules gave rise to some mistakes. However, the captain of debate team shared his ideas and experience with the freshmen, which was quite instructive. To win in the debate is to manage to persuade the judges rather than your opponents, he said.

As one of the top debate teams of A&F, our college team has been enjoying glorious history in university debate competition. We firmly believe that the new member will keep the glory on and make more achievements.
