As the affairs of re-selection of major and mentor is around the corner, our college held an exchange meeting in our college multimedia classroom, to help the students of 2011 set achievable goals and choose professional supportive mentors.

Honor students of senior grade Yan Runchuan, Shu Jie, Liu Mingzhe, Ma Mingyang and Lixin were invited and shared their experience in re-selection of major and mentors. Over 30 students of grade 2011 and 2012 presented at the meeting.

The meeting was conducted in the form of 5 groups. The senior students shared their experience and reminded of details in the selection process. They suggested the younger students estimate themselves thoroughly, make clear of their interests and design feasible academic plan. University website and communication with teachers and other senior students are effective way to get valuable information of different majors, the research field of mentors and experiment facilities, they said, to chose that best suits oneself but not follow suit. 

The meeting was a stage of communication for the senior and younger students, on which the confusion of younger students were more clear to the college while their future plan were more feasible and practical with the guide of senior students.
