To help the students broaden their view and get full understanding of their research orientation, our college has initiated from week 3 the series disciplinary lectures, and invited the professors and experts of A&F to give 9 lectures already.

The lectures are delivered on every Sunday mornings and each lasts one hour. Mentors focused their report on introduction to the research in specific realm in terms of the overall situation and development orientation, and were responsive to the questions the students raised, which was a great help for the students to make sensible choice of the discipline which best develops their potential and interests.

It has been a college routine to organize the disciplinary lectures every spring term, which has been proved a beneficial stage for both mentors and students as a communication bridge. The college classroom is like a base for the academic communication, in which the great research atmosphere has long been created. The students are encouraged the to communicate with the academic elites via the lectures and learn from their experience to make greater achievements in scientific research and innovation.
