He also focused his report on the mentor team, research orientation, teaching system and application of Oklahoma State University, emphasizing the significance of agriculture in the development of USA economy and society. He encouraged the students to improve their ability to conduct investigation and practice during college study period. In the session of interaction, CIE students were active to inquire Dr. Weckler about the cultivation of research ability, application and English learning.
Dr. Weckler was very considerate that he slowed the speaking to make sure every word fully clear to the students. His humour in delivering speech enhanced the CIE students’ understanding of USA higher education and teaching and research at Oklahoma State University. In addition, he also inspired the students in English learning and helped them with confusion about overseas study.
