On 9th March 2014, volunteer team of CIE held the books jumble sale Sea of Book and Love, all income of which will be donated to homeless elders and left-behind children. 

Most books on sale were donations from CIE students. The low price of the books was to encourage the student customers to make their contribution to help the weak, no matter how slight it would be. The enthusiasm of the volunteers extensively attracted the pedestrians who rushed to purchase their favorite books. We can hear the voice of the student: “ we just would like to make slight contribution to help the people in need.”

The charity bazaar was a win-win strategy, which passed on the message of love on one hand and on the other hand spread and practice the idea of environmental protection by enabling the reuse of resources.
