On the evening of 7th May, the Youth League lecture on official document writing co-sponsored by CIE, College of Food Science and Engineering and College of Enology was held in Xiushan hall of north campus, which was delivered by A&F director of Propaganda Department of A&F Party Committee Mr. Lv Weidong.  This lecture was designed to enhance the ideological education of Youth League Committee members and improve their abilities, so as to strengthen the construction of primary organization of Youth League Committee.

Initiating with the retrospect to the establishment and development of A&F, Mr. Lv pointed out the frequently misused wording in document writing of agricultural and forestry universities, and stated briefly the importance of essential skills in writing official document. Then he explained the practical writing in terms of its definition, definition, features, and writing elements. Taking the administrative document writing as example, he showed the literary structure and writing skills of notice, bulletin, report, application and brief, illustrating his guide with his experience in correcting the errors in writing. His concluded the lecture with precise summary of writing skills and common features of all official document writing.

The lecture was so well illustrated with inspiring examples that all the students were impressed and enlightened. All the success was attributed to Mr. Lv’s brilliance of witty wording.
