CIE has been attaching great importance to the formative education throughout the academic training program, from which the students are expected to develop excellence in learning style and study. To promote the education philosophy of this, CIE organized the one-month activity of 4th CIE effective learning climate creation.

It has been proved a great success by the three previous practices. The activity has been working well to improve the innovative capacity and learning ability of the students, preparing them for the top-notch talents  in the 2+X cultivation programme. Three phases are designed: publicity campaign, implementation and debriefing.

First, mock exams of CET 4 &6, tutorials and lab tours are to be organized, and excellent academic paper to be awarded, so as to create the good learning climate of academic learning and innovative research from setting good examples. Second, to strictly carry out the rules of class, morning exercise and evening class, the management of students’ daily life is to be enhanced, so as to further the formative education. Third, the students excellent in academic study are encouraged to help the ones less capable in study. Last, debriefings are required to organized, at which each class makes summary of the activity and refine their plans on how to create effective learning climate.

The activity is now going very well. May it a great success!
