At the request of CIE students, the book mark design competition was held with the support of college female reading community. Finally, six eye-catching works excelled all other design and were to be put into use by the reading community.

It was evident that the competition was a great success and a real hit of our college. The students made their imagination and creativity into full blossom in the book mark design, in which they expressed their love and wish to their college. Every single design was a piece of art, characterized with sweet scene, cute character or deep meaning. Having measured from design philosophy, layout design, colour matching and sparking highlights, the audience judge then voted for their favourite bookmark on spot.  Wang Xi, a student of Bio-science class 131 took the crown of the competition with his motivation-themed book mark. 

This competition enriched the college life of the students and strengthened the awareness of creativity as well. In addition, it is a manifestation of service philosophy of the female reading community. It did work to develop the students’ habit of reading and help them to form positive values.
