To welcome the coming Chinese Arbor Day on March 12th, CIE held the Green World themed activity. CIE volunteer students were highly involved in, making great contribution to the occasion.

Green Walk and Green Dorm are the two activities conducted at one time. On one hand, the volunteer set out from Youren College, walking on campus while watering bushes and cleaning the roads. CIE, No.3 teaching building, science building and playground all witness their efforts and sweat. The other group of students were busy with sending potted plants and seeds to each dorms of Youren College. As they adopted the plant, the students promised to take good care of the little green.

The activity will be like a windmill that gets more students in the movement of environmental protection. When they adopted the plants, the students have developed their sense of responsibility as a green world citizen. Green world won’t be merely a slogan of dream, but reality and future.
