On the evening of May 5th, having been prepared for one month, CIE English Play Contest was successfully held in Xiushan Center of north campus. Mr. Xian Jun and Mr. Wang Baojian were invited as judges.

At the preliminary session, all participant were highly involved in the event. They were open to any comments and suggestions on their plays, which lays solid foundation for the final contest. The one-month preparation of devoted students promised the great success of their show. From the verbal language fluency to the expressive facial expression and artistic body language, the students demonstrated their excellence in both foreign language and stage show. Even the audience were greatly inspired, who enthusiastically joined the magpie show. The results finally were revealed after fierce competition. The 1st prize went to Bio-engineering Base Class, while the 2nd prize went to Bio-Science class 141 and 142, and the 3rd prize went to Bio-engineering Base Class 141.  

The play contest, on one hand, provides the students a stage to show their passion in English learning and team spirit. It is also an inspiration to apply English into daily life.
