For the smoothly going of biology field practice and CET 4 &6, CIE held the college assembly on the evening of 12th June in classroom 8T01. CIE Deputy Party Secretary Mr. Qu Yunfeng, CIE student affairs officer Mr. Wang Bo, and CIE teaching affairs officer Ms. Zhao Lu were present at the meeting, along with all Y2013 students and the monitors and Youth League Committee secretary of senior classes.

Mr. Wang Bo informed the students of requirement and discipline about CET 4 &6, and emphasizing the rules of final examination. Then Ms. Zhao Lu read out the arrangement and requirement of the biology field practice, explaining the transport, accommodation, discipline, safety, and itinerary.

Last session was presided over by Mr. Qu Yunfeng, who emphasized the safety rules and disciplines in the field practice. He pointed out that the biology field practice has been proved an efficient way to develop team spirit and cooperation. Every single detail deserved the attention, while the awareness of hygiene and environment protection was supposed to be raises through this practice. Students were expected to respect the teachers and staff at the forestry farm centre, to cherish the learning opportunity and the resources, to demonstrate the excellence and quality of CIE students.

This assembly raised the students’ awareness of safety and made clear of the necessary preparation and rules of the practice. In addition, it furthered students’ understanding of the significance of the field practice teaching and made a good beginning for the practice.
