Recently, a lecture was organized by CIE students for the villagers of Guan Village, on guiding the techniques of fertilization to kiwi fruit trees. 

The countryside messenger handed out the reading materials about the techniques to the villagers, and communicated to the villagers who were working in the fields. They took notes of the difficulties and problems confronting with the villagers and manage to work out the solutions.  In addition, the messengers explained to the villagers who are planting and to plant kiwi fruit tree about its growth and fertilization techniques.

The students also invited Professor Zhou Xiao of our university to explain the techniques of plant and fertilization of kiwi fruit tree, and shared with the villagers the lecture hand-outs.

It is the right season for the fertilization of kiwi fruit tree. The practice of CIE students not only enriches the knowledge of the villagers, but also helps the villagers to apply the efficient fertilization techniques to the field work.
