Miss Li Zanping Conducted a Class of Reading and Writing

    On the evening of April 29, Miss Li Zanping instructed our college students of grade 2009 in Reading and Writing in the classroom N8204. Miss Li took full advantages of multimedia facilities in teaching, applying both pictures and visual material to motivate students for class discussion.

    First, via showing several pieces of bat pictures and raising inspiring questions, Miss Li introduced the main topic of the class with visual material. Next, she encouraged the students to discuss in groups about the fundamental knowledge of bat and its function to human being. In this course, students were informed more about how the extraordinary capacity of echolocation came into being and how it worked. To enrich the teaching content and broaden students’ horizon, Miss Li played the documentary The Bat and the Radar. In the end, she summarized the key points of class and assigned the preview for next class.

    With full use of advanced teaching aid, Mill Li made her class informative and lively. The class activity enjoyed great popularity among students, to great extent, which drew their attention and livened up the class atmosphere. In addition, it enriches the students’ knowledge and stimulates their enthusiasm in study, which is considered complete success in genera.
