Ever since being a registered student of this university, she has never fail to rank first in class and grade. Not only in study, but also in the synthesized evaluation of college students did she stand out of the common students. She was also the girl with the entitle of winner of First Prize Scholarship of discipline, winner of National Scholarship, Excellent League Member and University Honor Student. She has made her name, Yue Cui known to all for her brilliance.

        In September 2008, Miss Gu entered Northwest A& F University with great ambition. Successfully accustomed to the new college life and study, she was goal-oriented and full-prepared to fulfill her personal dream. In the past two years, she kept reminding herself of the toughness and mighty hardships on the way to success, which motivated her to keep moving forward in spite of any challenges.

                                                                                Diligence for Great Success in Study
        As a college student, she gives priority to study in her life and keeps to practice this value. Her concentration on class, making notes, and regular prevision and revision all contribute to her excellence in professional learning. Modest and prudent in study, she is pretty inquisitive and enjoys consulting teachers discussing with classmates about her difficulties in study. What she attaches great importance to is learning method. Therefore, she shows her preference to flexible approaches in acquiring knowledge of different disciplines, which can enhance the leaning efficiency significantly. In addition, she spends plenty of time studying English,which turns out to desirable results: she passed the CET 4 and CET6 without second try, won Third Prize and Second Prize of National College Students English Contest in 2009 and 2010 respectively. In the past two academic years, she has ranked first in study and synthesized evaluation twice, who also won the first prize of Professional Scholarship three times and National Scholarship of 2008-2009 Academic Year.

        Meanwhile, she grasps every opportunity to get comprehensive knowledge enriched and abilities improved via taking advantage of abundant resources of library. Current situation in and abroad are also what she is keen on. She keeps herself informed of the news on current politics and analyses those information rationally, which broaden her horizon and keep her in contact with frontier trend of disciplinary development. Girl of versatile tastes, she tends to make attempts on new things and participates various recreational activities.

        Serving as chief of editorial department in Role Play Club, she once participated the College Student Drama Festival of Shaanxi Province and won sorts of prizes, organized the Freshmen Party, played the role of Lanzhi Liu in short play of Wanders Every Five Miles at college New Year's Party and went in for the university chorus contest. Besides, she took great satisfaction in participation in college freshmen sports meeting, university sports meeting, opening ceremony of university sports meeting and university basketball match. All her efforts promises her fruitful school year, like second prize of female triple jump in college freshmen sports meeting, second prize of female 4*100 relay race, first prize of college female basketball match, third prize of chorus contest and passed the National Public Aerobics Evaluation of BandIV.Colorful activities help release the pressure and ensure the relaxed mood. More passion and energy are offered in study , which helps her get twofold results with half the effort.

        At the very beginning of her college life, she submitted Party membership application and learn about Party Constitution and Party history, encourage herself with exemplary deeds of excellent Party members. She attended the Youth League Committee Class and Party Class and conducted her behaviour with the principles of an official Party member. She was so concentrated on Party Class and would not allow the miss of any points. In her spare time, she study hard of the CPC constitution, Marxism-Leninism, Maoism,Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Important Thought of Three Represents and Scientific Outlook on Development. She graduated as honor student of Party class and became one of the first group of probationary party members.

        She works hard to ensure the full development and improve the practice ability by taking part in innovative programme in science and technology. In October 2008, she applied for the project of college student innovative experiment programme with the programme of Study on Optimization of Extraction Technology of Black Maize Pigment and Analysis on the Stability of Black Maize Pigment, which was accepted as one of the university's key programmes. This project passed the programme defence in September 2010. The practice in labs not only enhanced her theoretical knowledge, but also help her acquire more experiment skills and knowledge. What counts most is that she was equipped with scientific research methods, thoughts and attitudes.

        To practice more, she volunteered to help the homeless elders and orphans. She was like an angle in the world, who spreads the concern and love to people who badly need help. She tutored some middle school students in summer vocation, which improve her expression and communication ability. Besides, she once took part time job of Secretarial Assistant in a food company, from which she first got contact with the society.

                                                                                 Optimisticism and Passion in Life
        We see many optimistic personalities from Miss Gu. She is easy going, lovely, and strong-willed. However tough the job is, she would stick it out. The sound of her laughter is so infectious and never fail to cheer others up. She takes full responsibility of a dormitory monitor and successfully handles all unpleasant affairs, which brings all roommates in harmonious climate. She, along with her roomates once took part in the College Competition of DIY Dormitory Ornament and won the Best Innovative Prize. Her paper of Love My Dormitory was awarded the Honor Prize as well. She worked with the principles of justice and impartiality when exercising the power in evaluating the poverty of poverty stricken students.

        The two-year college life has made a independent and capable lady out of a young girl. Though the glory once flashed her past, those achievements doesn't blind her eyes focusing on future . She firmly believes that, only moving ahead can help one make brighter future. Let go of the yesterday and move on to next destination.
