The international teaching class Research Methodology and Scientific Writing, co-supported by CIE of NWAFU and University of Nebraska-Lincoln successfully finished.
As a two-week program from Nov 30th to Dec 11th, this course had been delivered to students and teachers of our university. The size of class was also well-designed to guarantee the teaching and learning effect. Among the students, there were also few graduate students from Animal Science College, Agronomy College and Forestry College of our university. Prof. Steven Harris, the lecturer of this course organized various of class activities and extra-curriculum assignment to further the understanding of all listeners. According the survey conduced by CIE, the feedback on the course and lecture were all positive and compliments.
Professor Steven Harris graduated from University of Michigan with a Doctoral degree, and then continued his post-doctoral research in Purdue University. From 2001, he has been working as a professor in Plant Pathology Department and Plant Science Center of University of Nebraska, and also serves as the person in charge of graduate enrollment of the department and editor of American Micro-biology Journal.
