To develop the students’ sense of innovation and their sense of home-belongings to college, a College Badge Design Competition was held on the evening of May 29th in the north hall of Xiushan student center. Over a hundred of Youren College students came to witness the wonderful performance of 8 candidates.

A preliminary contest had been held few days ago, in which all design works were voted when they had been collected and demonstrated on the bulletin board. That was how the 8 entries were elected for the final competition. On that evening, the 8 designers were required to present their design philosophy, picture structure, cultural connotation and aesthetic effect. Their humanistic quality and their love to college greatly inspired and moved the judges and the audience. In addition, the evening was activated by the interactive games--- A&F Badge Puzzle and Icon Puzzle. As judges of this competition, associated professor Cao Ning and Fang Jianbin made positive comments on and instructive advice to all designs. After the fierce competition, Li Guo, Y2014 Bio-Science major student took the crown of this event. 

In this one-month activity of College Badge Design, the students found a way to show their innovative ability and art literacy, and also their love to the college.
